"How was it in here this morning?" I asked the top dog at the grocery store, who happens to be one of the most awesome leaders I've ever met. Top 10 for sure.
"Honestly," he started, his eyes misting, "I was pretty teary-eyed that first hour. The seniors were really grateful." He paused, "Well, except for that one who, when I asked if she was 60, asked if I wanted her to slap me in the face." He half-laughed and handed me his team card.
"Crazy times..." we said, almost in sync.
"Have a good night and stay well," I offered my own grateful blessing to the good leader with a smile.
I was glad there was no one behind him in line. It gave me a minute to pause and really feel the L❤️VE that is beginning to emerge through these crazy times.
Can you feel it bubbling just beneath...?
🙄 the stress of trying to figure out how to work from home, or deal with not working
🥴 the challenges of managing all the energy of the young ones and home, and trying to figure out what Non-School school could like like at home (omg, I saw some stressed-out mommies yesterday!)
😳 the temptation to project beyond this present moment and wonder how it's all gonna work out -- work, bills, school, etc.
Can you feel the L❤️VE that is there...
flowing to you you in a myriad of ways?
